The Deutsche Bahn AG runs a training center in Cologne with a total area of approximately 7,300 square meters. The training center is comprised of a basic and a technical instruction area as well as a commercial and technical training workshop in which the mandatory and supervisory driving tests of railroad engineers are taken by the DB as well as other railroad-traffic companies.
This two-floor training center is a showcase project of the Deutsche Bahn and poses as an example for the development of further training locations.
